I'm Sally (she/her), the heart and soul behind Rebel Rites. As an Independent Celebrant, I specialise in offering "Inclusive I Dos" for couples/lovers looking for a ceremony that is
personal, meaningful, and free of
red tape.
At Rebel Rites, my ceremonies
are for those who seek to celebrate their love outside traditional religious confines.

What can you expect?
I offer a range of other ceremonies including vow renewals, handfasting, and naming ceremonies. As an "oldster" compared to many other celebrants, I bring a wealth of life experience, seasoned with the unique perspective of being "neurospicy" (ADHD). This translates into people-centered skills, and I strive to afford every individual dignity, compassion, and respect.
Although I am a cis woman in a heterosexual relationship, I am a passionate ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. As the proud mum of Steff and Ells, the dynamic duo behind Rebel Love Club, I'm constantly learning and growing as a student in queer life.
I offer to stand by your side, be your friend, be adaptable, support your ideas, give you the space to explore your dreams, and help guide you to create the ultimate ceremony that is right for you. I want you to feel safe and know there will be no fancy frills or fluffy words, just an honest, beautiful script that will sum up the raw emotion of the love you and your chosen partner(s) share.
Weddings and ceremonies are such an important part of our lives. Being different is brave, fun is fabulous, and being in love and having the day you want and deserve is your ultimate Rite.
